Jamie L. Pearson, President & Founder, New Holland Group
Widely considered one of the most influential women in cannabis, Jamie Pearson has been a highly respected leader in the industry for over a decade. Her operational success and deep relationships led her to be selected twice from over 7,500 nominees as one of High Times’ Most Influential Women in Cannabis. Fluent in German, Jamie spent the past three decades in the global real estate investment and finance world.
Most recently, she founded the New Holland Group, a global consulting firm serving international clients with expertise in operations, brand licensing, strategic planning, executive coaching, celebrity partnerships, M&A deal structuring, and financial turnarounds.
Before New Holland Group, Jamie spent seven years, including three as the President & CEO of Bhang Inc. [CSE:BHNG], one of the world’s most-awarded and recognized cannabis brands, famous for its twelve-time Cannabis Cup-winning line of gourmet chocolate bars. She led the company’s diverse executive team, managed the “expansion through licensing” plan, ran the capital markets division, and was the face of the brand – catapulting Bhang from a favorite in California to a multi-national phenomenon distributed in 7 US states and 10 countries through licensing deals with the likes of Trulieve [CSE:TRUL] and Indiva [TSX:NDVA]. Jamie served four years as the Vice Chairman of the Board and served on the Board’s audit Committee.
An outspoken proponent for diversity in C-Suites and corporate boards, Jamie is a popular speaker with competence in the areas of ESG, cannabis licensing, global brand expansion, real estate, finance, celebrity partnerships, business development, DEI, and leadership. In addition, she is a strong advocate for the Last Prisoner Project, a non-profit organization focused on the release of non-violent cannabis prisoners. Jamie consistently reminds industry leaders to share access, reject the plant’s stigma, and promote cannabis as a gateway to wellness for our bodies, our companies, and our communities.
